Baked Oats with Peanut, Baobab and Chocolate Stars
Cookie dough peanut butter exists, and when you use it in baked oats with chocolate stars on top, you get something that feels more like dessert than breakfast. The cinnamon and mixed spice add warmth, and baobab powder brings a citrus note that keeps it from being too sweet. The sprinkles are not strictly necessary, but they make it look like something worth photographing. Recipe by Steph's Gluten Free Bakes.
Ingredients
- 50g gluten-free oats
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp SACO Baobab Powder
- 125ml milk
- Cookie dough peanut butter
- Chocolate stars
- Cinnamon and mixed spice
- Sprinkles
Method
- Place all the ingredients together in a bowl and mix.
- Transfer to a greased ramekin.
- Bake for 20 minutes then insert a toothpick in the middle. If it comes out clean, the baked oats are ready.
