Banana Baobab Porridge with Forest Berries
You bought baobab powder and now it's sitting in your cupboard while you figure out what to actually do with it. Porridge is the easiest place to start. Smash half a banana into your oats before you cook them, stir in baobab powder once it's ready, then top with berries and the other half of the banana. The citrus note from the baobab stops it tasting too sweet. Takes two minutes in the microwave or a bit longer in a pot if you prefer. Add honey if you want it sweeter.
Ingredients
- 30g oats
- 1 tsp SACO Baobab Powder
- 200g soya milk (or your favourite milk)
- 1/2 banana
- 1/2 banana (topping)
- 1 handful of forest berries
- 1 tsp honey (optional)
Method
- Smash half a banana in a bowl. Add the oats, the milk, and stir.
- Place the bowl in the microwave for 2 minutes or until nice and creamy.
- Stir in a tsp of baobab powder.
- Top the porridge with the other half of the banana, a handful of forest berries, and a tsp of honey if you like.
- Enjoy your breakfast!
