Baobab and Lemon Tea
Hot water with baobab powder and lemon. It's what you make when you want something warm to drink that isn't tea or coffee. The citrus from the baobab and lemon makes it taste sharper than plain hot water, and you can add honey or agave syrup if you want it sweeter. Mix the baobab into a paste first to stop it clumping. Takes about two minutes to make. Good for cold mornings or late evenings when you don't want caffeine.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp SACO Baobab Powder
- 200ml hot water
- Lemon
- Favourite sweetener (optional)
Method
- Add the baobab powder into a cup and whisk with a tiny bit of the hot water to make a paste. This will help prevent the baobab from forming little lumps.
- Add the rest of the water slowly and keep stirring.
- Squeeze a lemon wedge.
- Add your favourite sweetener if you want (honey, agave syrup, etc.).
- Enjoy!
