Ginger Infused Water
If you're trying to drink more water but plain water bores you senseless, this is what you make. It's also what you reach for when you've had too much coffee or sugar and want something that refreshes you. The ginger adds warmth and a slight kick, lemon brings sharpness, and cucumber keeps it clean and light. Make it the night before and keep it in the fridge. Pour it into a glass bottle if you want to drink it throughout the day and stay hydrated.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp SACO Ginger Flakes
- 1/2 lemon, sliced
- 1/2 cucumber, sliced
- 1 litre cold water
- Ice (optional)
Method
- Add the ginger flakes, lemon slices, and cucumber to a large jug or glass bottle.
- Pour over cold water.
- Stir gently.
- Leave in the fridge overnight or for at least 2 hours.
- Serve over ice if desired.
- Keeps in the fridge for up to 2 days.
