Nutty Baobab Baked Oats

Chocolate, peanut butter, and toasted almonds come together in these indulgent baked oats. Baobab powder adds a citrus note that balances the richness. Good for breakfast or an afternoon snack. Recipe by Steph's Gluten Free Bakes.

Ingredients

  • 50g gluten-free oats
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp SACO Baobab Powder
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 125ml plant-based milk
  • Coconut flakes
  • Almonds
  • Hazelnut chocolate

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Grease a small ramekin.
  3. Mix all the dry ingredients with milk and peanut butter.
  4. Carefully fold in coconut flakes.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared ramekin.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  7. Top with almonds and hazelnut chocolate.
  8. Place back into the oven for a few minutes to toast the almonds and melt the chocolate.
  9. Serve warm or cold.
