Nutty Baobab Baked Oats
Chocolate, peanut butter, and toasted almonds come together in these indulgent baked oats. Baobab powder adds a citrus note that balances the richness. Good for breakfast or an afternoon snack. Recipe by Steph's Gluten Free Bakes.
Ingredients
- 50g gluten-free oats
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp SACO Baobab Powder
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 125ml plant-based milk
- Coconut flakes
- Almonds
- Hazelnut chocolate
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Grease a small ramekin.
- Mix all the dry ingredients with milk and peanut butter.
- Carefully fold in coconut flakes.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared ramekin.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Top with almonds and hazelnut chocolate.
- Place back into the oven for a few minutes to toast the almonds and melt the chocolate.
- Serve warm or cold.
